Many readers have asked me to review Barrois fragrances, so I wrote asking for samples. No reply. I went to their London store instead, a swank little boutique on Piccadilly, where the kind sales attendant took me through the range and gave me a little box of samples, unfortunately not including Aldebaran. They are composed by Quentin Bisch at Givaudan, who apparently has 192 fragrances to his name, including best-sellers like 1 Million and Good Girl.
